6 months later: Great build quality, its solid like a brick while small and portable. Keys feel very springy and alive and don't make any noises. Really classy! Its not a piano and it shouldn't be. You have great customization options for DAWs with the provided MIDI Control Center software. Its very detailed and allows programming of the function of every encoder and pad, and the mod strip. For Ableton and Arturia controls are built in, others can be programmed into 6 available resets. I made my own transports for FL and Channel rack Track 1 to 16 selector. I like a lot the number of controls the encoders and the pads provide. Equaly valuable and amazing are the software instruments it comes with! A great value "Starter pack". The variety and number of instruments in it are 10/10. Arturia membership and account are not annoying, its very easy to use, doesn't cost you money every month and is a high standard, quality service. Doesn't have MIDI but compared to MiniLab 3 who does, this one, the mk2 has a good old, solid, chunky USB Type B. and I personally like the amount and the placement of the controls more.
