Safari Audio The Herd V2 (Digitaal product)

The Herd V2

Experience the power of three compressors in a single unit with The Herd V2. This innovative device combines Opto, VCA, and Devil compressors, each with its unique character and individual on/off LED indicators. Stack a smooth optical squeeze beneath a snappy VCA grab, and unleash the Devil when you're ready to add some chaos to your sound. With shared Attack and Release settings, you can keep the herd moving in harmony. The Tone control shapes the character of your input, while Mid/Side processing allows for different compression levels on the center and sides of your mix. Gain-reduction metering with IN / GR / OUT switching provides clear visibility into your compression levels, and the Blend feature lets you mix the compressed signal back under the dry one, ensuring you maintain every transient while adding character and punch.

Perfect for: Drums, lead vocals, bass, and mix buses when you need that extra energy.
