Moondrop Golden Ages 2 In-ear draadloze koptelefoon

True Wireless Planar Magnetic Sound with Bluetooth 6.0

The Moondrop Golden Ages 2 brings planar magnetic driver technology — usually reserved for much more expensive over-ear headphones — into a pocket-sized true wireless earbud. A 13 mm planar magnetic driver delivers 4× the energy conversion efficiency of a similar-sized dynamic driver with lower nonlinear distortion. Bluetooth 6.0 handles the wireless link with SBC, AAC, LDAC, LHDC, and LC3 codec support. This model is the right choice for listeners who want planar-magnetic clarity in a daily-carry form factor.

What Sets the Golden Ages 2 Apart

Lower distortion and tighter transients come from the 13 mm planar magnetic driver compared to typical dynamic drivers at the same size. Inside the Moondrop Link app, a second-generation interactive DSP exposes parametric EQ, community-shared tuning presets, and a live frequency-response graph for dialing in the sound without leaving the app.

Who Should Buy the Moondrop Golden Ages 2

This model is the right choice for listeners who want planar-magnetic detail and clean transients without paying flagship prices. Audiophiles on a budget will appreciate LDAC and LHDC support, the parametric EQ in the Moondrop Link app, and the JM1-aligned default tuning. Commuters benefit from active noise cancellation with a transparency mode, dual-device connectivity, and beamforming microphones for clear calls. Mobile gamers get a dedicated 55 ms game mode. The shallow ear-canal fit suits users with smaller ear canals.

Moondrop and the Golden Ages Concept

The Golden Ages 2 continues Moondrop's "Golden Ages" line, a series that pays tribute to an earlier era of personal audio with retro cassette-inspired industrial design. Moondrop's stated philosophy is "constant innovation based on science and technology," and this model reflects that approach by bringing planar magnetic drivers and multi-codec Bluetooth 6.0 to the true-wireless segment.
