Hybrid Instant Camera with a Touchscreen

The instax mini Evo 2™ builds on everything people love about the original mini Evo and adds new ways to shoot. The 4.46-inch TFT colour LCD with touch panel (approx. 1.23 million dots) makes it easy to compose, adjust settings and review your images. The camera uses a 1/2.77-inch CMOS sensor with approx. 16.3 effective megapixels, an F2.0 lens (21 mm equivalent) with single AF and face recognition AF, and focuses from 10 cm, with a dedicated Macro mode for close-up detail.

100 Ways to Express Yourself

Turn the tactile lens dial to switch between 10 lens effects, such as Soft Focus, Light Leak, Double Exposure or Half-frame, and twist the film dial to choose one of 10 film effects. Mixed together they give you 100 combinations. You can save up to four favourite effect combinations and recall them at any time. Exposure compensation (−2.0 EV to +2.0 EV), white balance and flash settings let you fine-tune each photo.

instax Expanded View™ and instax Immersive Movie™

instax Expanded View™ shows a wider field of view than the captured image, with an on-screen framing guide that reveals more of the scene for more deliberate composition. instax Immersive Movie™ records the four seconds leading up to each shot, preserving the movement and atmosphere before you press the shutter (a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card is required and sold separately).

Tactile Printing in High Quality

Pull the analog-style print lever to print your chosen image on instax™ mini film (sold separately). Prints take approx. 14 seconds and are produced at up to 635 × 318 dpi; choose instax-Rich Mode™ for vivid colour or instax-Natural Mode™ for a more classic look. Images stored in the internal memory (approx. 45 shots) or on a microSD card up to 256 GB can be printed.

Designed Around You

The timeless body is inspired by classic cameras and features dual shutter buttons for portrait and landscape shooting, a built-in selfie mirror, a self-timer (approx. 2 or 10 seconds) and a flash with auto, forced and suppressed modes. The built-in lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C in approx. 2–3 hours and lasts for approx. 90 prints per charge.

Connected to Your Smartphone

Pair the camera with the free instax mini Evo™ app via Bluetooth 5.2 and wireless LAN to shoot remotely, transfer images, keep a digital gallery of your prints and update firmware. The camera also works as a smartphone printer – edit and crop your favourite phone photos in the app and print them as instax™ mini photos.
