LibreWave Dicky Deegan's Uilleann Pipes (Digitaal product)
Dicky Deegan's Uilleann Pipes is a virtual instrument sample library that brings the unmistakable sound of traditional Irish bagpipes to any DAW. Built for the Rhapsody Player, it includes two chanters in D and C#, a full set of regulators with the rare bass regulator, and three drone pipes. With 150 samples recorded at 24-bit / 48 kHz, the library delivers expressive legato, natural slides, and dynamic articulations without keyswitches.
- Two chanters in D and C# with realistic legato and formant-correct slides
- Full regulator set including the rare bass regulator for left-hand accompaniment
- Three individually toggleable drone pipes with velocity-controlled on/off
- Runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux via the Rhapsody Player
Authentic Irish Bagpipes for Your DAW
The uilleann pipes are one of the most expressive traditional Irish instruments to master. Dicky Deegan's Uilleann Pipes captures that character in a sampled virtual instrument, giving keyboard players direct access to the bellows-driven sound. The library was recorded dry, so the samples sit cleanly in any mix with just a touch of reverb.
Expressive Play Without Keyswitches
Every articulation is performed dynamically through velocity and controller input, with no keyswitches to manage. The chanters offer expressive legato, natural slides, and on/off knee samples that recreate the authentic attack of real pipes.
Ideal for Composers and Celtic Music Fans
This library is the right choice for composers and producers who need authentic Irish pipe sounds without booking a session musician. Film scorers will appreciate the expressive legato and slide controls. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux via the Rhapsody Player, which is also available as an AAX plug-in for Pro Tools.
