The stand is stable and works well. I would change two things. First, the knob to adjust the height needs to be more stout, it will probably fail after several uses. Second, the stand itself doesn't raise high enough to accommodate all guitars. My Dean Razorback almost touches the floor and doesn't feel stable when in the stand. I bought this stand specifically for my extreme shaped guitars and some fit and some don't.
