Roland E-X10 Arranger Keyboard — A Portable Gateway to Real Playing

The Roland E-X10 is crafted as an inspiring starter arranger keyboard for learners, hobbyists, and parents wanting a quality first instrument. Boasting 601 tones, 207 preset styles, and a velocity-sensitive 61-key keyboard within a 3.9 kg chassis, it runs on AC power or six AA batteries. Beginners who crave authentic Roland piano sound and full-band accompaniment without a steep learning curve will appreciate this model.

What Sets This Keyboard Apart in the Starter Tier

Entry-level boards rarely inherit acoustic piano voices from award-winning home and stage pianos, but this arranger does, providing learners with a far more expressive foundation than typical toy keyboards. Sing-along sessions are simple with the dedicated microphone input, and the USB-B port transforms the keyboard into a plug-and-play MIDI controller for any music software on your computer.

Sound Engine, Keyboard, and Connectivity

At the heart of this model is a 64-voice polyphony engine, powering 601 tones, 9 drum kits, 10 reverb types, and 8 chorus types. You’ll find the 61-note keyboard velocity-sensitive, with three touch curves and a fixed-touch option—allowing beginners to tailor the response to their playing style.

• Polyphony: 64 voices — sustains full arrangements without dropped notes
• With 61 velocity-sensitive keys, the keyboard delivers a piano-style feel for proper technique development from the start.
• Tones & Styles: 601 tones, 207 styles, 9 drum sets — rock, pop, jazz, world sounds
• Speakers: 2 × 12 cm, 2.5 W each — onboard stereo with rich low end
• Connectivity & Power: USB-B, MIC (6.3 mm TRS), AUX, pedal, headphone out; AC or 6 × AA — play, record, or connect anywhere

Who This Keyboard Is Built For

Beginners, returning players, and families who need a reliable first keyboard will find plenty to grow into. Lesson mode with scoring and a metronome supports structured daily practice, while 207 styles let a one-handed player sound like a full band. Mic input, headphone-friendly speaker auto-mute, and battery operation cover bedroom, classroom, and travel scenarios.
